Veterinary Care Team

Christina Spears, DVM, CVA

Dr. Christina Spears leads the team at Park Animal Hospital and Wellness Center. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She always loved animals and competed in horseback riding events in her teenage years. Her summers spent with the horses led her to veterinary medicine. Dr. Spears is a 1997 graduate of the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina before moving with her family to Colorado in 2007. She has worked locally in Highlands Ranch for the past 4 years. Dr. Spears has pursued further training in holistic medicine, becoming a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2002 with the International Veterinary Acupuncuture Society. She completed Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal training in 2008 through A Time to Heal. She also works with homotoxicology, Western herbals medicine, nutritional therapies and homeopathy.

Leslie Morgan, DVM

A native of South Dakota, Dr. Morgan is a 2011 graduate of the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine.  She was inspired to become a veterinarian by her grandmother.  She received her undergraduate degree in biology from South Dakota State University in 2007. During school, she worked as a kennel assistant at a veterinary hospital and also did research on bovine diseases. After veterinary school, Dr. Morgan completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, where she earned additional experience in emergency medicine, general practice and in such specialty services as internal medicine, surgery and radiology. Today Dr. Morgan has professional interests in general and preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry and pain management.

Dr. Morgan and her husband have a cat named Winston and Sherlock the Labradoodle. Her hobbies include skiing, climbing, running, swimming, knitting and baking.

​Meghan Feeney, DVM, CCRT

Dr. Feeney grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. During her veterinary school training, Dr. Feeney worked for three years with primates, as well as pursued her strong interest in the treatment of zoological species through internships at the Denver Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park and the Omaha Zoo, as well as elephant tracking in Angola.  After graduating, she completed a rotating internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital in southern Florida, where she gained invaluable experience in emergency medicine, management of complicated internal medicine and surgical patients, as well developed a strong interest in neurology and rehabilitation medicine. After completing this internship, Dr. Feeney completed a second internship at the Wildlife Center of Virginia, treating and rehabilitating Virginia native wildlife including bald eagles, black bears, fox, hawks, eagles, turtles, and song birds with the goal of releasing them back to their natural environment. Dr. Feeney then returned to Coral Springs Animal Hospital as an emergency veterinarian and recently moved to Denver in the Spring of 2016 with her fiancé.  Dr. Feeney is a certified canine rehab therapist through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and continues to have strong interest in neurology, physical therapy, and pain management.

Dr. Feeney and her husband have two boxers named, Boo and Lambeau. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Feeney, loves to cheer on the Badgers and Packers, and exploring the beautiful Colorado outdoors with running, hiking, snowboarding and visiting new local breweries. 

Robyn Hayes, DVM, CVA

Dr. Robyn Hayes has been a small animal veterinarian for 12 years, focusing her continued education on holistic treatments, canine rehabilitation and behavioral therapies.

She is a 2005 graduate from the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine.  She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, receiving her training through The Chi Institute in Florida in 2013.  She is also trained in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee. 

Aside from her holistic interests, Dr. Hayes has a passion for behavior therapy, working with aggressive dogs, anxiety disorders and inappropriate urination in cats.  She co-founded a non- profit focused on providing behavior support and education to owners of pit bull type dogs called Slugger City Bully Buddies. 

She has pursued further education in behavior training, using different medication along with training techniques to help dogs with behavioral concerns.  She is also a Fear Free Certified Veterinarian, helping pets have stress free visits at the vet’s office.

Laura, CVT, Practice Manager

Laura is a Certified Veterinary Technician, graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute after moving to Colorado from Indiana. Laura is an excellent veterinary technician, with fantastic skills in the lab.  She is very kind & compassionate, always finding ways to minimize stress for our pet patients.

In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, exploring the mountains, and playing with her cattle dogs, Johnny and June. She lives in Conifer with her boyfriend, Tadd, and their dogs and cats, Wolfy and Danger.


Veterinary Technician

Theresa moved to Colorado from Kentucky in 2010 and has worked in the veterinary field since 2012.  She joined the Park Animal Hospital team after graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute in June 2014.  Theresa has a special interest in the dental and surgical aspects of veterinary medicine, and loves taking care of our furry friends after their surgeries.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son, Calvin, and her Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Max, who keep her busy at dog parks and sporting events.  She also loves painting, music, and finding fun new things to do in Denver.

Rachel is a transplant from the Chicago-land area.  She lives in Morrison with her boyfriend, David, and two dogs, Panda and Zola.  She has worked in veterinary client services since 2015.  She is passionate about being a friend to our clients and their furry friends and being emotionally available in times of worry and grief.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking and going to Red Rocks shows.

Jessica grew up in Colorado, and has been working in the veterinary field since 2004.  She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Biology from MSU Denver.  Jessica enjoys making sure every animal in the hospital feels special and loved!  

When she has a little spare time, she enjoys getting away to the mountains with her dog, Nacho Macho Lovato (the cute little pup pictured with Jess).  Jessica also loves the arts, dinosaurs, sharks, and a whole lot of coffee.
